The review is about 43″ model.

Initially when I have received this TV I was extremely pleased with it, great colors, no backlight bleed, smart features and not too shabby when it comes to looks.
Unfortunately had to return TV as I noticed on several occasions that after connecting it to my laptop and editing document there was buzzing sound coming of TV, I was hoping firmware update might fix it but it already had a newest one.
For consuming media it’s great device, extra features like Bluetooth speaker is a nice touch but it fails when it comes to productivity.
I was able to recreate the issue as it happens after TV has been on for over 45 minutes and when there is a text displayed on a white background like editing document in Word or browsing through PDF. The buzzing sound comes when…

Just my two pennies on this TV in case anyone’s thinking of picking it up. I recently purchased the 55” version for £379 through Amazon/Hughes.

It really is a great price for a 4K telly, especially for the features it promises. Unfortunately, that does come at some costs that may or may not be a deciding factor for you if you know what they are before buying it.

There is some quite noticeable light bleeding from the edges of the display, and it’s especially bad when viewing large shots of the same colour like the sky, football pitch or YouTube background, for example. It also has some pretty bad Dirty Screen Effect (DSE) when panning across. Again, this will be most obvious when watching football etc, so not the best choice for that unless you’re not particularly susceptible to noticing…

  3. Amazon Customer

It seems like a decent TV for the price in terms of picture quality, sound, and responsiveness in apps.

However some of the apps simply bring up a black screen when selected, and never load. After this, if you go to the home screen and select another app, they’re all not working! You have to turn it off and on again.

The working apps include Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, Rakuten, and Plex.
Apps not working include BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, 4oD, My5, and UKTV Play.

EDIT: I contacted Hisense technical support, and the situation is even worse. After being on hold for 30 minutes while being told I was 1st in the queue I finally got to talk to someone. He couldn’t say much other than asking me what software version I had, and saying they had a more recent version. Great, I ask for the link….
