I have for the past 18 months been using a set of Bose sound sport wireless free headphones. These were amazing in most respects but protruded too far from my ears and the connection to the left ear phone was often patchy. The signal was too weak to wear a hat or anything, and if you looked the wrong way with phone in pocket the left would cut out.
Enter galaxy buds. To start with these are incredibly secure, even more so than the Bose. They are small enough to put under a hat if you wish and the connection has been rock solid, even before the firmware update. I’ve never had a cut out with these.
The pass through option sounds good but is completely useless, but I don’t get the point anyway. If it’s for safety then don’t have them up so loud, if it’s to talk then just don’t put them…

This is my second pair of wireless earbuds (my previous ones being IQbuds, which I didn’t really get on with for a number of reasons). There are a number of key features/quirks of the galaxy buds I have discovered over the last month:
1) the case really is tiny, I keep it almost permanently in the little front pocket of my jeans (no other wireless buds case would fit)
2) battery life is good – 5-6hrs from the buds and a full recharge (and a bit) in the case. i.e. enough to comfortably get you through a day. The only time battery life may be an issue for you is if you are unable to recharge for an extended period of time. which brings me onto …..

I’ve read a lot of negative reviews on Samsung’s new buds..! But completely unjustified in my opinion.
These sound great. Loads of bass & crystal clear, even at max volume.
If you have a Samsung phone the features are brilliant. Tap controls are spot on & there so small. The most comfortable earphones I’ve ever had.
For the money I can’t fault these in anyway.
Absolutely no point in comparing to Bose and other top makes that cost far more.
